This rare picture of Zoé Ouellette wearing her garden bonnet, is among the few paintings of Zoé. Paul was so intrigued with Joseph and his brother on the pioneering homestead, that he was almost too late to capture Zoé and her sister Alice. She always had that sweet smile and a friendly gleam in her eye.
