This is a rare sketch of our precious Donkey "Dolly". Many of you met him, he was a wonderfully happy and gentle guy who was only with us for a couple of years before his unfortunate accidental passing. He was a good friend to Red and Paul, always baying when he heard them. He would tug at his halter as they tried to put it on him, once he stopped that then he'd pull their hat off. I think Paul still has his hat where "Dolly" took a chunk out of it. Paul can't look at our garden in without the memories of ploughing it with "Dolly". Fond memories and good fun. Thanks for sharing this memory with us. You can take "Dolly" home for your very own. Framed in museum quality frames and designed by Paul Murray. You are getting the drawing for almost free.

: The Johnson Family from Townsend is a traditional mountain family. They let Paul & KatiJane into their lives in the 80’s. This has let Paul share paintings of Lil’ Fannies’ Grandma “Fannie” and “Earnest", and has forged a great friendship, with many cherished memories. L'il Fannie was born from a long line of mountain people. She shares the shyness and fierce pride of her forefathers.
